Hey , I'm Maddie Franks!

I am an artist and designer based in Omaha, Nebraska
I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember, and what started as pencil sketches as a little girl has grown into a lifelong love for creating with purpose. I may not use rice and cereal on my art anymore, but the wonder I felt while creating hasn't changed.
Through middle and high school, art became my safe place. I spent every extra minute in the art room, covered in charcoal dust and completely content. I loved realism, the challenge of making a drawing look alive, and the process of slowing down enough to really see something.
When graduation came, I decided to major in art education, convinced I was supposed to teach. But after a while, it didn’t feel like the right fit. I switched to graphic design, thinking I’d found my thing, but the classes felt slow, and I was craving something deeper. So, I switched again, this time to marketing, and graduated in May 2025.
Even though my major changed, art never left. It stayed in the back of my mind, quietly calling me back. Over the years, I realized that art isn’t just something I do, it’s how I process, how I worship, and how I connect with the Lord.
My art is deeply tied to my faith. I’ve experienced brokenness and then healing through the Gospel, and I want that to be seen through what I create. To me, art is a picture of redemption.
I create to point beauty back to its Source.
When I’m not creating, I work at Mylo Brand Studio, which has helped me fall even more in love with creativity in all its forms. I’m newly married to my husband who runs Denny's Mobile Detailing here in Omaha, Nebraska. We love traveling, good food, and hunting for treasures while thrifting.
